Micha was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. He is rare climber - a mountaineer who has summited Everest and a rock climber that has climbed El Capitan. He has been living in Jerusalem and climbing since 1988. He got his B. S. degree in Physics and Mathematics at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He is a climbing instructor for the Israeli army. Since his graduation Micha has actively been working within his community, working with underprivileged children. He also teaches these children how to rock climb as well.

Micha has rock, ice, and mountain climbed in the mountains of Switzerland, Italy, France and Peru, Nepal, and India. He was the chairman of the Israeli Alpine Club and has worked with the IAC for the last 10 years.

When he is not climbing, teaching or volunteering for his community, he plays the Flute, loves to mountain bike, read, and listen to jazz. Micha is currently working on his Ph.D.
